Return Policy
Try it risk-free with a test jar.
Our 1.5 oz test jars are the no-risk way to see Cactus Wax on your own. Open it, use it on a real project, and if it isn’t right, tell us why and we’ll refund it.
How returns work
Every return, including test jars, starts with a message to us:
- Contact us within 30 days of delivery with your order number. Please don’t send anything back before you hear from us.
- Share your feedback: what didn’t work for you, with photos of the jar and, if you used it, your project.
- We’ll reply within one business day. For a test jar, that’s it: we issue your refund, and there’s nothing to send back. For any other return, we’ll send return instructions.
- Refunds go to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. For returns we ask you to send back, that’s once we receive the product.
Test jar guarantee (1.5 oz)
- Your test jar refund is always approved once you’ve sent your feedback and photos. We won’t second-guess it, and you don’t need to send the jar back.
- The jar doesn’t need to be unused. If you tried it on a project and it wasn’t right, that’s what this guarantee is for.
- The guarantee covers one test jar of each finish color per order, and each customer can use it once per finish color. Extra test jars follow the rules for all other returns below.
- Your feedback helps us make a better finish. We keep it private and won’t publish it without your permission.
All other returns
- Unopened, unused jars in their original condition can be returned within 30 days of delivery, up to 3 full-size (8 oz) jars per order. Please include photos showing the jars are still sealed.
- Return shipping for these returns is paid by you.
- These returns are reviewed and approved at our discretion. We may decline requests that show signs of misuse or abuse of this policy, and we’ll always tell you directly if that’s the case.
Bulk or wholesale orders
Orders of 4 or more full-size jars aren’t covered by our standard return policy. Returns on larger orders are reviewed case by case. If you want to evaluate Cactus Wax before buying in bulk, start with test jars. That’s exactly what they’re for.
Having trouble with a full-size jar?
Opened 8 oz jars aren’t covered by the test jar guarantee, but we never want you stuck with a finish that isn’t working. Reach out and tell us what’s going on. We’ll work with you to make it right.
Damaged or incorrect orders
If something arrives damaged or isn’t what you ordered, we’ll always make it right, whatever the order size. Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of what you received. If we need anything back, we’ll send you a prepaid return label.
